TailorMaide / Brand

Brand Guidelines

One look, everywhere — the site, press photos, socials and print. This is the system behind the TailorMaide identity: what we lead with, how the logo behaves, the colors and type, and the handful of rules that keep it all consistent.

01 Positioning & voice

Big country-rock. None of the hassle.

TailorMaide is a seven-piece Texas country-rock band first — a dual male & female lead show with Carrie / Luke Combs / P!nk crossover energy. The his-and-hers leads are the selling point: they cover both the Luke Combs and the Carrie / P!nk sides of the setlist. The self-mixed, self-contained sound is the value-add that closes bookers — sell the date with the band and the show, then seal it with the turnkey production.

Lead with

The band and the show — dual leads, seven pieces, a setlist that reads the floor.

Seal with

Turnkey production — full in-ear monitors, own the room, zero extra crew to manage.

Tone

Confident, plain-spoken, Texas-warm. Short lines. No hype words, no jargon.

02 Logo & wordmark
TailorMaide
TailorMaide

The wordmark is set in Unbounded Bold, tightly tracked, as a single word: Tailor in the text color and Maide in blue ink. On light backgrounds use blue ink #0f6dbf; on dark use #5cb8ff so it stays legible. Keep clear space around it of at least the cap-height of the M.

Do

  • Lead with the band and the show; the self-mixed / turnkey angle is the closer, not the identity.
  • Keep the wordmark two-tone: Tailor in text color, Maide in blue ink.
  • Use hairline borders, not drop shadows, to separate surfaces.
  • Put dark text on accent fills — never white text on blue or pink.
  • Reserve pink as a highlight. Blue carries the brand; pink punctuates it.
  • Give photography the poster / film-grain treatment; keep the UI clean around it.

Don't

  • Don't call the band "female-fronted" — it's a dual male & female lead.
  • Don't let the mixing-console / fader / VU-meter vocabulary spread past the Rider and stage plots.
  • Don't recolor the wordmark or add effects (glow, bevel, outline).
  • Don't use white text or fills on Signal Blue or Hot Pink.
  • Don't reach for the honky-tonk / vintage-poster look the palette deliberately replaced.
  • Don't stretch, rotate, or crop the wordmark.
03 Color palette

Core colors

Four fixed brand colors. Their hex values never change — only their role flips between light and dark (cream and black trade places as background and text).

Aa

Stage Black

#121212

Text on light · background on dark

Aa

House Cream

#f5f0e8

Background on light · text on dark

Aa

Signal Blue

#39a9ff

Primary accent — the country-strong lead

Hot Pink

Secondary accent — used sparingly

Ink variants (accessible text)

Signal Blue and Hot Pink are vivid — great as fills, too light as small text. These darker "ink" versions are what to use for links and accent text so contrast stays readable.

Blue ink (light)

#0f6dbf

Signal Blue as readable text on cream

Blue ink (dark)

#5cb8ff

Signal Blue as text on black

Pink ink (light)

#c01f78

Hot Pink as readable text on cream

Pink ink (dark)

#ff85c6

Hot Pink as text on black

Frame tokens (these flip live)

The surfaces, borders and text weights are driven by CSS variables that swap with the theme. Toggle light / dark up top and watch these swatches change — that's the system working.

04 Typography
Display — Unbounded Headlines, wordmark, big numbers

Houston country rock

Label — Barlow Condensed Eyebrows, buttons, tags — UPPERCASE, tracked

Now booking · Texas & the Gulf Coast

Body — Barlow Paragraphs and everything else

A male- and female-fronted Texas country-rock show that brings its own sound — full in-ear monitors, its own console, and 100+ songs across country, rock, R&B and pop, read to the floor so the night keeps moving.

05 Motifs & texture

Console grid

A faint blueprint / mixing-desk grid for background sections. Ties in the "run our own room" motif — but keep it and the fader / VU-meter vocabulary contained to the Rider and stage plots, where it reads as proof, not pose.

Accent fader bar

Cards can carry a thin accent bar down one edge (echoing the stage-plot channel strips). Blue is the default; pink marks the rare emphasis. Hairline borders separate everything — no drop shadows.
